Nurse clinics

Our highly trained and qualified nurses work very closely with the doctors and are trained to do an extensive number of procedures and tests.  The services they provide include monitoring of chronic diseases, wound dressing, diabetes and managing insulin, spirometry, cervical smears,  injections and advice plus vaccinations to prevent childhood diseases and for foreign travel.  Nurses can refer to counsellors directly.

  • Suture removal,
  • Pregnancy confirmation
  • General advice.

Time: Monday to Friday (except Tuesday 9am-10.30) without an appointment. Appointments are available between 10.45am and 12.30pm (except Tuesday).

Please check with the receptionist as specialist clinics (please see below) are also arranged during these times.

Childhood immunisations

Letters are normally sent by the practice nurse for child immunisations.

Time: Tuesday 11am-12.30pm

Diabetes clinic

These clinics are normally arranged by the practice nurse.

Asthma clinic

These clinics are normally arranged by the practice nurse.

Antenatal clinic

These clinics are normally arranged by the community midwife
